Description
A. L. Allen's Buick Garage and Gasoline. Located at 922 West Exchange Street, Brodhead, Wisconsin. Mr. Allen purchased the building, known as the Roderick Building, in late 1916 to open his garage. The building is now the location of "608 The Factory". Through the years it was used for many different businesses, including The Independent Register Newspaper and print shop. In the picture A.L. Allen is standing next to the gas pump. The building to the left is K. K. Helrude grocery store. The building to the right is O. T. Olson farm implement shop.
