Title

Church Bell

Description

The old Methodist Church bell is placed in front of the United Methodist Church at 501 First Center Avenue, Brodhead, Wisconsin. The bell was a gift from Edward Brodhead to the first church to be built in the town if the town would take his name. That church was the Methodist Church at 1004 Thirteenth Street. The Methodists combined with the EUB church in 1969 and became the United Methodist Church at this location. The Methodists removed their bell and brought it with them.
