The Naber Inn

Description

The Nabor Inn was a restaurant at 904 East Sixth Avenue in Brodhead, Wisconsin. The building was built as The Dairy Bar run by Heinie Kueck. He had a five seat counter and sold some groceries and had a meat counter. He sold the business to Jim Speth in 1957 who ran it that way until 1960 when he added a dining room to the north side. Mr. Speth sold it to Jerry Schmitt in 1966. A short time later it was purchased by Carl and Susan Zweifel, they owned it until 1973. Cal and Jean Wickline ran it for a short time and finally it was purchased by Bud Coomer. The Coomers built a new Nabor Inn on First Center Avenue at the south end of town in 1978. The building is now a private residence.
