Uncle Larry's - Red Dot Potato Chip Factory

Larry Marty, owner of the Uncle Larry's - Red Dot Potato Chip factory in Brodhead, Wisconsin. Universal Foods closed it's cheese factory and gave the building to the City of Brodhead. The factory was located at the corner of 11th Street and West 5th Avenue. Marty leased the building from the city in June of 1988 and formed the Brodhead Potato Company. They produced Uncle Larry's Old Fashioned Potato Chips and in 1990 acquired the Red Dot trademark and made Red Dot Chips also. The building is no longer in existence.
