Description
The first balk gasoline plant in Brodhead Wisconsin was built by the Ties family at the corner of 12th Street and West Third Avenue. The three men by the tank are L-R Andrew Douglas, F.M. "Roy" Ties, and Leo Ties. The man standing by the truck is David Taylor. The plant was Standard Oil.
