Ties Oil Company Building and Trucks

Description

The Ties Oil Company of Brodhead Wisconsin building and trucks. The Ties and Woodling Oil Company was formed on November 1, 1921. The owners were Leo Ties, F. M. Ties, and John Woodling. In January 1930 Leo and F. M. Ties bought out John Woodling and it became Ties Oil Company. The building is at 1105 West Forth Avenue. The building was later owned by Charles McManus and was a gas station. He sold the business to Landmark Co-Op. Landmark closed the station and the building is now used as Dick's Repair Shop.
